Great Lake Motel Taupo

fairly clean place with outstandingly accommodating and supper friendly staff and nice view of the lake. fab location close to everything and recently renovated rooms. also - short walk to many restaurants and pubs, shops, restaurants and lake, and the lake.

The rooms were pretty clean, and the staff knew what they were doing. Plus, the beds were huge! 🛏️

The room with single beds was neat and we really enjoyed our stay, especially with the amenities like a stove and stovetop available.

The total stay was nice on a business trip. They gave me an executive queen studio with a bath, full bathrooms, as an example. - Coffee & tea makers, a fridge, and a cooktop were a huge plus. - Exceptional hotel staff helped me with laundry. The rooms are beautifully maintained and functional with a sofa in the bedroom. The tea and coffee making equipment, fridge, and cooktop were a nice touch. The location is very central, close to the great lake, shops, petrol station, restaurants. I would definitely stay here again; it exceeded my high expectations.

The Great Lake Motel in Taupo is situated in a fantastic location, surrounded by main activities such as Huka Falls, Wairakei Golf, geothermal parks, and cafes and shops in Taupo. The brand-new room I stayed in was extremely pleasant, with a separate bedroom and lounge, and a luxurious jacuzzi bath and shower. All of this came at a reasonable price.

The hotel is located in a central area, just off the lake, with easy access to restaurants, cafes, pubs, and shops. The room I stayed in was delightful, with a beautiful queen bed and provided amenities like a microwave, fridge, and coffee/tea making machines.

We had a fantastic time in Taupo and the Great Lake Motel was fantastic. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spacious and newly renovated. We loved the spa bathtub in the clean bathroom. The location was amazing, just a stone's throw away from Lake Taupo, restaurants, Huka Falls, and the town shops. Plus, there was a lovely public park nearby.

I recently stayed at this amazing 4-star hotel for a weekend getaway and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk away from all the shops and restaurants. And let me tell you, the view from this place was simply breathtaking! Being right opposite the lake made it even more special.

I stayed in a studio with a spa for 4 nights and it was a great experience. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was well-equipped and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to shops and restaurants. I had a pleasant stay at Great Lake Motel and would recommend it.
